At last a screening date for The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes

At last, I’ve got a date for the Channel 4 programme, ‘The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes’. With the programme being shown on June the 12th, I’m both excited and nervous. The making of the programme was fun, but very tiring. I didn’t cope in the kitchen area of the restaurant – I kept dropping things, and the noise did my head in. But when I was transferred to front-of-house, I managed much better. I still dropped things in guest’s laps and  bumped into tables. But the whole experience was empowering. Hopefully people watching the four programmes will learn something about dementia, and realise that getting a diagnosis isn’t the end. It’s just a new direction.
