Gail has had a lovely weekend. Go easy on the fruit though Gail.

Hi, it’s Gail.

I’ve had a really good weekend!

First of all, on Saturday morning I started on writing up some of the tips for the new website that’s coming soon, so that kept me occupied for a while. I love to be involved in – what’s the word I’m looking for – oh ‘project’ yes! I love to be involved in projects. It gives me a sense of belonging, makes me feel like I’m useful and I love doing things and helping people so I think I’m going to enjoy that one.

I didn’t do any baking on Saturday, which is normally my baking day, but me and hubby need to cut down on the sweet things, we’re eating far too many cakes and we’ve both gained a few pounds during this lockdown. Hubby says we’re going to eat more fruit. I asked him if we could have waffles and cream to go with the fruit – he didn’t seem really impressed by that but I do like waffles and cream with some strawberries on.

And then Sunday, I went to visit my parents. So I was on the road by eight am. I drove the car today, which has been the first time out of town since before lockdown. I thought it would be a good time to drive as the roads would be quiet and I don’t want to lose my driving skills just yet and it was quiet so I really enjoyed the drive there. And me and Mum had a crafting day and we went on a little shopping trip and we purchased some crafting essentials and then went back to Mum’s and she made me my lunch and then we did a little bit more crafting. We had a few laughs along the way as I was forgetting and so was Mum so it was like the blind leading the blind. But we had a brilliant day. And my Dad was watching football downstairs and hubby was laying some floor tiles at Mark’s house – my stepson.

So all in all it’s been a really good weekend and I’ve had no headaches and I’ve had no foggy fuzz so it’s just been a really good weekend so I thought I’d share it. Thank you very much. I hope you’re having a lovely day. Bye!
