Gail wonders what will happen with all her ZOOM friendships once we are ‘back to normal’
Hi, it’s Gail and last night I had a bad night, as per usual – I think I got three hours sleep last night, so it was better than the other night when I didn’t get any sleep at all – but I was in the craft room and I was doing some water colouring and I got thinking about Zoom and the meetings and people getting together and everything’s getting quite positive now because of this vaccine that they’ve found and – so people might be able to get together again into the DEEP groups and how wonderful that people will be able to get together again and we’ll be able to hug one another and shake people’s hands and chat across a table to somebody, instead of on a computer, using Zoom or FaceTime and yeah, it were – it brought a smile to my face.
And then I suddenly realised that all these people that I’ve met on Zoom – I think most of them involved in groups so that they can, you know, they meet up with people and – yeah, I don’t have a DEEP group near me and I suddenly realised that last night, that when it all goes back to some form of normality and Zoom is no longer (laughs), I just hope that there’ll be some way that at least I can keep in touch with people – because we’ve had some good laughs and – yeah – it just got me thinking. So, when everything goes back to normal, what am I going to do?
And I think I’ll finish there and – yeah, the sun’s coming through the window now, which is lovely, ‘cos it was rather grey this morning, so I’ll leave that thought with you and I hope you’re all having a lovely day and I’ll speak to you soon.
Bye.
