Gail is delighted and moved by what arrived in the post. Happy tears.
Hi, it’s Gail.
I just thought I’d share with you, as this morning my postman’s just been and there was two packets for me and I opened the first one and Frances had nominated me to receive this wonderful calendar, “Shining a Light on Dementia” and there’s some wonderful pictures in there and – oh and sayings and yeah, it’s just wonderful and I just wasn’t expecting that, so I’ve sort of cried a few of those happy tears, my eyes have been leaking this morning and yeah, she said she’d nominated me because I’d opened up a whole new world of crafting skills to people with Dementia and – wow, that’s meant a lot, it really has, yes, so I shall be sending a Thank You, most definitely, ‘cos that’s absolutely fantastic.
And then the other day I was looking for a CD, which I used to have when I was in my thirties, I think and I used to use this CD to relax me when I come home from work and it always used to send me to sleep by listening to it as it was saxophone music and it’s by a wonderful saxophone player called Kenny G and yeah, it’s so relaxing and so I opened up the other one and in there was the CD, of Kenny G, “Breathless”, and yeah, so we’ve had plenty of happy tears in the last five or ten minutes, things that you’re not expecting just sort of – ooh, really hit you, hit you – oh yes, there you go, so I just thought I’d share that with you, so it’s been quite a happy and an emotional five or ten minutes – yeah, just wonderful, wonderful, yes, so yeah, thank you for listening to me and yeah, I hope you’re having a lovely day as well.
Speak soon,
Bye.
