Steve tells us how important it is for us to listen to Dementia Diaries

Hi it’s Steve Clifford.  At a recent GPs masterclass we attended last week, I asked those who were there if they had heard of Dementia Diaries. Many raised their hands, but an equal number had never heard of them.  I put that right. I  stressed that it was so important to those of us contributing to Diaries. But Diaries is only as good as those who listen to the various reports we make. I stressed the importance of just listening to people who live with dementia every day, and the difficulties some of us have with every day activities. I think…no, I hope…my talk made an impact.
