Nancy shares her Berlin Adventures
Hello Nancy speaking. Just got some photographs back from my daughter Julie of our trip to Berlin. I tried to send them to you today and I hope they reached you. And this is just me adding a few words on my mobile. I’m standing at the bus stop waiting for the bus to come. I’m heading off to T’ai Chi today, then I’m off to the walking group, and this evening I have a mindfulness session. So it’s a very full day for me on a Tuesday.
Berlin was absolutely fantastic – thank goodness my daughter came with me and she helped me take all the photographs. You can see me on camera with this wee thing around my neck and that was me recording all the sounds from the Syrian museum we went to. I’ve forgotten the name of the museum but I will ring you back and tell you what it was called.(Nancy called back and said ‘The museum was called the Pergamon. It was only one of five in the area’) Fantastic time we all had. You’ll see pictures of me and Scot, manager of the museum and the person behind the camera who was taking the photographs on my behalf, and I was really chuffed with quite a lot of them. My trip to Berlin was wonderful; we got to the conference too, and the Gala Dinner. Lovely pictures that Helen Rochford Brennan took of me at the Gala Dinner. I’m not sure if I will be able to copy them but I’ll try to send them to you Rachel. I hope everyone’s well – and Vince (?). Off to the T’ai Chi. Bye!
