The second of three parts from Melvyn’s morning reflections and we find out how Tally is

Carrying on from the last call. She’s so erm… anyway when I got home from the meeting my dad met me and just Tally must have over done it a bit. He hurt… done his muscle in, in his back leg, his right back leg. Grey hounds are susceptible to injury and their skin is so thin and anyway that’s what he must have done. Anyway it really knocked him to six. He had a temperature of over forty which is high, very high. I got some cabbage for him and er… some medicine some [inaudible] and erm I got sent on my way. Cost er… 240 pounds which I haven’t got but had to erm put it on er… my card. So I’ve… I’ve got to get this bill my expenditure in and everyone else I’ll have to tighten my belt… er… because of that, but never mind. It worried me and it put me back a bit on Saturday. I couldn’t do anything Saturday apart from play with my dog and sit with my dog. Really knocked me for six because I’ve seen him when I got up in the morning seen it in his eyes that he wasn’t well. I’m thinking oh my god no. Please don’t, please don’t make him, let him be ill. I could see in his eyes. He’s such a darling, he really is, so gentle and loving. Bit like myself really. Yeah, very much like myself because I’m gentle and loving. But anyway what a horrible day it was yesterday. First day of May today. First day of May. Looking at the calendar now. Yes, Monday first- Tuesday first of May. Got a lot on this month. Yeah got a lot going on. Got to take my statement of reasons down to the Citizens Advice today and where I live in the whole of the town that does VIP. Got my statement of reasons back from the Department of Work and Pensions that er that when I went to my appeal, the judge and jury and I read through it and found quite a few different things in there that are not right and erm…
