Having a lovely creative time with my Occupational Therapist

Hello it’s Jacqui. Well it’s strange how things work out. My keyworker and I were just discussing other things that I could be doing at home besides my pebbles and she said she would send somebody from the occupational, whatever it is, department to have a chat with me. Well that was a couple of weeks ago and then I had the idea of doing some glass painting and so I went onto Amazon and I ordered some books and of course looked to see what equipment I needed. And I ordered some colours and outliners. And yesterday a lovely, lovely, lovely lady called Sarah came to visit and she brought a box of paints and stuff and she showed me how to paint on glass but she sat next to me chatting away and she’s ever so easy to talk to. Not overbearing at all. And she then said, “would you mind if I left these here and I came back next week and did some more with you”. Well, you could have blown me down with a feather, I was just so happy. Come back next week, do I mind, of course not, I’d be ever so delighted. So she’s left me with all the equipment and has started me off on some painting and now my paints should be arriving soon. And next time she comes we’ll be doing some work with clay, I don’t know what we’re going to be doing. And then she’s also got some idea about my pebbles. And for Christmas my friend has bought me a Drummal engraving tool. So she’s going to show me how to use that and all the other things I’ll be doing so crumbs I’m going to have a bigger workshop than the dining room. I was ever so relaxed and we were getting on so well it was just a lovely afternoon and she loved Tia as well. Bye bye for now.
