“Live for today and enjoy every precious minute while you can”
Hiya. It’s Steve Clifford. My grandson’s birthday last Saturday so I took his present round. He is a lovable, cheeky, very clever, now 8 year old scallywag. I asked him how school was and he told me he had been learning all about the bible. “What’s that”? I said , kidding him. I know all about the flood, he said and Noah. “Ah yeah “, I said , “He’s the one with the multi-coloured coat, isn’t he?” Leo sighed and shouted “Grandad, don’t be silly, that was Joseph. Noah built a boat. Then he said ” Grandad, you’ve got a boat havn’t you? I said “yes”. Leo then said “Did you know Noah? ” Well my daughter and Margaret burst out laughing. Leo too was laughing. I was the only one not laughing . Cheeky little gremlin. My daughter said afterwards “You know dad you’ll have forgotten all this in a few days but we’ll be able to laugh about it for months and months “. There was a compassioned concern in her voice . My motto now is laugh . If you can laugh, laugh. Life is far too short. Live for today and enjoy every precious minute while you can. Thank you
